How to Organize Kpop Playlists

The Korean music industry is so prolific that you can’t even keep up with all the releases without making a spreadsheet and keeping track of every song like a crazy person.

That’s why we decided to do some research into how other people organize their playlists—and how they do it.

Organize by Genre

Genres are a way to describe the style of music.

They help people find music they like and make it easier to explore new artists.

Kpop has many different genres and subgenres, so organizing by genre is a great place to start when building your playlist.

Organize by Artist.

For example, if you like listening to songs from the group EXO, you can create playlists for each member’s solo work or all their music together as a group.

Organize by Mood

The next step is to organize your playlists by mood.

This can be as simple or complex as you want it to be; it’s a matter of personal preference.

If you’re feeling happy, you might want an upbeat playlist full of fast and fun songs that get your heart rate up.

If you’re down in the dumps, maybe throw on some R&B tunes and slow jams that’ll help ease your mind.

If the weather outside is rainy or gloomy, maybe put together a playlist with moody instrumental tracks for those days when all you need is something calm and mellow around you (or if it’s sunny out, burning through a few upbeat indie tracks).

And don’t forget about life events like birthdays, anniversaries—or even just waking up on Monday morning!

Your moods change constantly throughout the day based on what’s going on around us: whether you’re feeling excited about something new coming up soon (like a vacation) or stressed about something happening now (like traffic).

The possibilities are endless!

Organize by Group

Organize all of your playlists by the group.

This way, you can quickly access a specific group’s music and videos from any other playlist.

It’s time to get organized!
