One of the best things about YouTube is that you can customize the way your content looks.
You can add custom thumbnails, change the color of your channel, and even rename playlists if you want to.
If you have a playlist with a bunch of videos that need renaming, don’t worry! It’s actually very easy to do:
1. Go to your YouTube channel.
- Go to your YouTube channel.
- Navigate to the playlist you want to rename. You can find this by clicking on your channel, then clicking “Playlists.” If you’re not sure where it is, try searching for the title of the playlist in a new tab; this will show you some suggestions for playlists that are already titled something similar, which might give you an idea of where your playlist is located!
2. Navigate to the playlist you want to rename.
- Open the YouTube app.
- Navigate to the playlist you want to rename.
- Click on “Edit” in the top right corner of your screen. (Alternatively, tap on Edit in the bottom right.)
- Tap on “Rename.”
3. Click on “Edit.”

- Edit the video’s title and description.
- Save changes.
4. Click on “Rename.”
To rename a playlist, you can either click on “Rename” or right-click on the playlist and select Rename.
If you have not renamed it yet, the name will be red in color (as shown above).

5. Type in the name of the playlist and click “Save.”

- The name of a playlist can be up to 100 characters long. You can use spaces and special characters, as well as numbers and dashes to separate words (for example, “One Two Three”).
- Capital letters are not recommended for your YouTube video titles because they will appear exactly as you type them in search results. Enclose such titles within brackets []. If you want all capital letters, enclose them with double quotes (“). For example:
