How to Add Podcast Episodes to Spotify Playlist

If you want to add an episode of a podcast to your Spotify Playlist, follow these steps:

1. Go to https://open.spotify.com/

The first thing you need to do is go to Spotify’s website.

You can do this by navigating your browser of choice (we recommend Chrome) or using the app on your phone.

Once there, click on the Podcasts tab and then log in with your username or email address and password.

This will bring up a page with a list of podcasts that are recommended based on what you’ve listened to before—these recommendations are called “Browse.”

2. Click on the Podcasts tab

Now that you’re in Spotify’s main library, locate and click on the “Podcasts” tab.

This will take you to a list of all available podcasts in your country, as well as any custom playlists you may have set up.

3. Login with your username or email address and password

The next step is to log in with either your email address or username. You can also use your Spotify account’s username and password.

  • Sign up for a Spotify account if you don’t have one yet by clicking here.
  • Go to the top of any page on Spotify, click “Account” from the menu on the left side of your screen, scroll down until you see “Login/Register,” enter your email address or username and then click “Sign Up.”
  • After signing up for a new account, return to spotify.com/linkifypodcasts and click “Log in with Facebook Account or Google Account (will open in a new tab).

4. Search for any podcast or episode of your choice

Search for any podcast or episode of your choice.

Use a search bar to find what you are looking for.

You can use the search bar to filter your results

5. Select the episode you want to add to a playlist, then select Add To in the Episode section

Select the episode you want to add to a playlist, then select Add To in the Episode section.

Select Save Playlist and type in a name for your new playlist and choose whether or not you want to share it with others via Spotify’s public feed (if you don’t, your playlist will only be available on your profile).

Click Save and finish setting up your new playlist!

6. Click on New Playlist

You’ll be presented with a blank playlist and an empty name field.

Type in the name of your podcast or other media you’d like to add, then click Save Changes.

7. Name your playlist and click CREATE

To make a new playlist, click the + symbol in the bottom right corner of Spotify’s main window.

A drop-down menu will appear, and you can give your playlist whatever name you want!

You can also use this menu to create new collections—just select “New Collection” instead of “New Playlist.”

However, creating playlists is easier because they have their own dedicated section on Spotify’s left sidebar (whereas collections only show up under “Playlists” in the left sidebar).

If you do want to keep things organized by separating podcasts from music or albums from singles in your library, then creating a collection is probably best for you.

On top of that, if your friends are also using Spotify and want access to all of your shared content (like playlists), it’s best if all items are grouped together in one place.

8. Click on ADD TO PLAYLIST after naming your playlist

Now that you have created a playlist and added all of your episodes to it, it’s time to save it!

To save this new playlist, simply click on the green plus sign at the top right corner of Spotify and select “add to playlists”.

You can then name your newly-created playlist whatever you would like.

9. Click Next, then click ADD EPISODE(S) TO PLAYLIST

Click Next, then click ADD EPISODE(S) TO PLAYLIST

Type in the name of your playlist and click Add Episode(s)
